National Baseball and Philadelphia Phillies Hall of Fame

Mike Schmidt’s resume includes twelve All-Star selections, three National League MVP Awards, ten Gold Glove Awards, six Silver Slugger Awards, and a World Series ring. But that’s only the half of it. During his 18 seasons at the hot corner with the Philadelphia Phillies he led the NL in homeruns eight times and RBI four times, ultimately resulting in 548 big flies and 1,595 runs batted in over the course of his career.

He is enshrined in both the Philadelphia Phillies and National Baseball Hall of Fames.

Mark Hartfiel

Mark Hartfiel is the Vice-President of Paradisus Dei. For over 15 years, Mark has worked tirelessly to help thousands of men recognize their calling as authentic leaders in their marriages and families through the That Man is You! men’s program. Mark graduated in 2004 from Franciscan University of Steubenville and became the first employee of Paradisus Dei and the That Man is You! men’s program.

He witnessed it from its infancy with one parish in Houston, TX and has helped facilitate its growth throughout the country to now 500 parishes across 42 states and over 20,000 men.

Deacon Nathan Gunn

Deacon Nathan serves as the Initiatives Coordinator for the Young Life Northeast Division, with a special emphasis on ensuring collaboration between Young Life and the Catholic Church. Young Life’s mission is to introduce adolescents to the person of Jesus Christ and help them mature in their faith. Nathan lives near Syracuse with his wife Tammy and two college-aged sons.

Deacon Nathan holds a Masters in Theology from Fuller Seminary and a Masters in Biblical Theology from St John Paul the Great Catholic University. Deacon Nathan teaches Theology and Scripture in Deacon Formation for the Diocese of Syracuse.
